What Does 200 Calories Look Like?
(via boingboing)

You’ve read the nutrition facts, but things like serving size, number of servings per container, and hunger get in the way of actually knowing how much you have to eat to to get the 17% of your daily riboflavin. Well I monitor my riboflavin intake daily, but for some strange most people care about silly things like fat and calories.
Fear not, wisegeek.com has created a cute little page showing how much if different foods it takes to get 200 calories.
So what’s the important lesson from all of this? 200 calories of bacon is a good deal of bacon!

Pretty good, no? That’s like 4-5 strips!
Now granted it doesn’t as much weight as lets say the equivalent in apricots

but who cares?? The bacon looks so much better!!
