$1 Sand Dollar Menu at Great Bay
In my continuing quest to bring you the cheapest eats in Boston, I just found out that the Great Bay Restaurant, located at 500 Commonwealth Ave is having a Sand Dollar menu, at their Island Bar, weekdays from 5-6pm.
Note: This is only for non-Sox game nights (thanks Carolyn!)
On their $1 menu is:
- SPICY FISH TACO, with tropical fruit, avocado, cilantro
- CHILLED DUXBURY OYSTER, with chive mignonette, lemon
- LOBSTER & SHRIMP DUMPLING, with ginger, scallion, garlic
- SALMON SASHIMI SLICE, with shiso sauce
- CONE OF CALAMARI, with spicy aioli
I have yet to go there, but it sounds like it could be interesting. I’m a big fan of its sister restaurant, Radius.

Ooooh…sounds awesome! Haven’t been there yet myself, but my parents stopped in for a late-night dinner and raved about the food! I fully intend on checking this out…

Went and tried out all 5 options and all were AMAZING!!! Loved it so much I’m going again tomorrow.
Also, I *highly* recommend the crispy pork belly if it’s on the menu…

p.s. the $1 deal is only on for nights when there isn’t a Sox game at Fenway…

Thanks for the info. I’ll definitely have to check it out. Especially since it is 2 blocks from where I work.
